The Israeli nation is plunged into deep grief and sorrow at the news of the death of Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, may their memory be blessed. The two abducted soldiers who were handed back to Israel this morning in the framework of the prisoner exchange agreement with Hezbollah, returned in coffins. It was not what their families, or as every Israeli and Jew across the world, had hoped and prayed for. Full Article

In March, Christians United for Israel (CUFI) held its second “Night to Honor Israel” in Sacramento.  CUFI, a national grassroots movement with the single focus - Christian support for Israel - was created by Pastor John Hagee in February, 2006.  The Jewish Federation has participated in Sacramento’s two “Nights to Honor Israel” and I know that this has caused concern among some members of the Sacramento Jewish community.

Isreali Dance Sessions

We are proud to offer Israeli folk dancing in the Sacramento Capitol Region. Dance classes are open to anyone who wants to have fun and exercise! We offer Classic and New Dances for group, line and partners. All are welcome, beginer and intermediate.
