Neil Soskin - President
Neil Soskin has been in the real estate industry for 21 years, currently as a Vice President Director Western Region for Weingarten Realty Investors, which he joined in 2002. Neil earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and received his MBA from University of California, Berkeley. He began his Federation career in the mid-1980s, spending five years on the San Francisco Young Adult Division Board, including a year as Campaign Chair. In addition, he enjoyed two years on the National Young Men’s Leadership Cabinet. Neil has taken on many leadership roles within the Jewish community, including the Regional Board of Directors of AIPAC and the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region.

Skip Rosenbloom - Immediate Past President
Dr. Skip Rosenbloom is a physician, a former health plan Medical Director, and a businessman with a broad-based perspective on the health care system and expertise in the issues of quality and medical necessity for care. His experience encompasses a seven-year practice in occupational and emergency medicine. He founded a managed care company and he provides managing and consulting services for a wide range of regional businesses. Skip received his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago and his Master's of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.

Phil Fine - 2nd Vice President, Campaign Chair
Phil Fine joined the Federation Board because he believes in supporting the Jewish Community outside of the confines of his own synagogue. Acting as our Technology Advisor, Phil has 17 years of experience as a technology expert. For the past seven years, he has served as Director of Core Framework Development for ADC Telecommunications Elkridge and he was responsible for Strategic Planning, Market Development, and Marketing Communications for a business unit within ADC’s Systems Integration Unit. Prior to that, he was California Product Development Manager for Objective Systems Integrators, Folsom, where he was responsible for the development of web-based work flow management software for Telecom New Zealand’s Complex Service. For five years, Phil was California Senior System Engineer for Lockheed Missiles & Space Co. in Sunnyvale, California.

Ariel Shenhar - Treasurer
Ariel Shenhar serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Ophthalmic Imaging Systems and is a member of its Board of Directors. He is one of the founders of MediVision Medical Imaging. Both of these are traded companies. Ariel also has 20 years of experience in finance, marketing, sales, and business development. He served as a Director and Board Member of two other public companies and as a Manager for Export and Marketing of an internationally-traded company. Ariel is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting, and is a Major (Reserve) in the IDF.

Greg Nathanson - Executive Member
Greg Nathanson is the past president of Western Career College (WCC). He graduated from UCLA in 1984 with a BA in Political Science. In 1989 he joined WCC and worked as a campus executive director and vice president of operations before being named president, prior to US Education Corporation’s acquisition of WCC. As WCC president and a regional vice president for US Education, Greg built WCC to eight Northern California campuses and 4,000 students before retiring in 2007. Before joining WCC, Greg worked as a television writer and producer in Los Angeles. He is a past member of the Career College Association and a past president of the California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools (CAPPS). He has written numerous articles for trade journals and continues to consult and present on private education industry topics at workshops and conferences throughout the country.
