Introduction to Judaism is an 18 session course that delves into the breadth and depth of Jewish life and learning, from the roots of the Hebrew Bible in the ancient Near East to the branches of Judaism still growing today.

Whether you are Jewish or not, whether you know a little or a lot, you will get a fresh and vibrant overview of Judaism from this course.  Dr. David Zuckerman, Professor of Communication Studies at California State University, will teach this course along with guest lectures from local Rabbis and Jewish educators. 
Join us for a stimulating journey through time and thought.

Sessions:  Every Tuesday, beginning September 14, 2010     

      Time:  7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Location:  Federation Offices, 2014 Capitol Ave. Sacramento, CA 95811

       Cost:  $180 for entire 18 session course (book and materials not included)
                 Registered college students free of charge (provide documentation.)

                 Tuition scholarships available based on need (See registration form.)
