As parents or as educators, we all know the power of reading stories with young children. These nurturing, joyous, and beneficial early learning experiences build the emotional and cognitive foundation for each child. That is why the Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region has launched The PJ Library.
The PJ Library (PJ as in pajamas) provides your family with a FREE treasury of Jewish books and music. Each child you enroll in The PJ Library will receive a monthly gift of a high-quality, age-appropriate Jewish book or CD as well as a reading guide to enhance your family's experience. All materials are carefully selected by a team of experts.
If demand exceeds the number of available spots, we will begin a waiting list as we search for additional funding. Along with Harold Grinspoon, the visionary founder of The PJ Library, as well as regional synagogues and individual donors, Federation is committed to bringing The PJ Library to every family who wishes to participate.
Whether you're a parent, grandparent, or friend of someone with young children, please help us share news of this special program with Jewish families throughout the area who have children 6 months through ages 7 1/2.
It is easy to enroll! Just click here.
